The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has informed the general public, particularly prospective travellers and Nigerians residing in the United States who require visas to enter Nigeria, that the services of Online Integrated Solution (OIS Services), the operator of Nigeria’s Visa Application Centres in the United States, have been suspended with effect from 1 July 2026 until further notice.
Following the suspension, all applicants seeking Nigerian visas are advised to submit their visa applications directly at any of the following Nigerian diplomatic missions in the United States:
* The Embassy of Nigeria, Washington, D.C.
* The Consulate General of Nigeria, New York.
* The Consulate General of Nigeria, Atlanta.
The Nigeria Immigration Service urges all affected applicants to comply with this directive and obtain updates on any further changes through official government channels.
