An Edo State-based cleric, Ojo Perfect, and Collins Agbonbaye, have narrated how they lost N30 million to a suspected fraudster in their quest to relocate to Canada.
The victims said they had got to Cameroun when they discovered that the travel documents and work permits procured for them were fake.
They said the suspected fraudster, Nosa Ighodaro, initially promised to procure documents for them to travel to the United Kingdom (UK) and later changed it to New Zealand before settling for Canada.
But Ighodaro denied the allegation, saying he did not coolect money from his accusers.
Addressing reporters in Benin City about their ordeal, the victims said the suspect has remained evasive despite a court order that led to his arrest in Abuja.
